Our mission is to provide professional and accurate service to the public, by providing you with valuable information and to help you understand what the office offers. The office provides recording and storing of documents, vital records, and licenses. We ensure elections are ran correctly and are accessible to voters. We complete tax calculation and tax redemption of back taxes. We serve the board with recording of minutes, resolutions, and ordinances. Many other necessary duties are performed accurately and efficiently within the office.

Duties of the Office
Vital Records – Maintains all birth, death, marriage records for the county as well as licenses.
Property Taxes – Maintains delinquent property taxes. Check you property tax status, find out how to make a payment, and learn more about the property tax cycle here.
Recorder – Official land records manager for the county. The recorder is responsible for recording, archiving, and retrieving a variety of documents.
Elections – The County Clerk is the election authority for the county. Information for voters and candidates can be found here.
