Water has been restored. These areas are under a boil order until further notice.
WATER SERVICE INTERUPTION
Water will be off for the residents in the affected area below for a water main repair starting at 12:30PM 9/28/2026. Water service is expected to be disrupted for approximately 3 hours.
Once water is restored, affected residents will be under a boil order until further notice. Watch City of Newton Facebook page for updates.
Affected area:
- 600 Block of Barton St.
- Wilson Street from Barton to the RR tracks
- College Ave from Owens to Henry
- Henry from Rt 130 to College
- Possibly Owens from College to Clayton
Once water is restored, this area will be under a boil order.
