NOW ACCEPTING MOWING BIDS FOR EARL DUFRAIN PARK
ADERVERTISEMENT FOR MOWING BID:
The City of Newton, Illinois, is accepting sealed bids for grass mowing, weed eating, trimming, edging, and grass clipping and debris cleanup from sidewalks and paved areas upon completion of mowing, at Earl Dufrain Park, located at 403 Liberty St., Newton, Illinois. The contract shall be for a period of three (3) years, covering the 2026, 2027 and 2028 mowing seasons. Sealed bids must include company name, address, phone number and bid price at the rate per mow. Bid specifications may be obtained from the City Clerk’s Office during regular business hours 7:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. Sealed bids must be returned to Newton City Hall, 108 N. Van Buren Street, Newton, Illinois, by 4:00 P.M. local time on April 7, 2026. Bid opening will be held on April 7, 2026 at 6:00 PM during the Newton City Council Meeting. The City of Newton reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids.
