
County Seeking Animal Control Officer

The County of Jasper is seeking an Animal Control Officer. Please note this is a contracted position.
Duties:
- Responsible for enforcing County and City ordinances pertaining to dogs.
- Impounding Dogs found to be in violation of any County or City ordinance.
- Caring for Impounded Dogs.
- Maintaining county animal control facilities and equipment.
- Investigating bite incidents.
- Investigating the inhumane treatment of animals.
Pay:
- Pay will be commensurate with one’s experience, and final decision will be made by the county board.
