Utility Billing
Welcome to Utility Billing
The City of Newton supplies electric, water and/or wastewater service to more than 1800 utility accounts.
Bills are mailed out on the last working day of each month and are due by the 15th of the following month. Utility Payments may be made in person at the Utility Billing office located in City Hall, 108 N Van Buren, Rm A. The office is open 8 AM – 5PM Monday through Friday.
You may also make payments at all four local banks, online, or via auto withdrawal from your bank account.
Deposits
Individuals seeking utility services are asked to complete an application, present photo ID and pay a $350.00 or $500.00 deposit.
