Notice of public hearing for the City of Newton proposed appropriations for the fiscal year 2026-2027.  Said hearing is to be held on Tuesday, July 21, 2026 at 5:45 PM in the City Council room at City Hall, 108 N. Van Buren Street, Newton, Illinois.  The proposed appropriations will be available for public inspection on July 7, 2026 through July 20, 2026 at the Office of the City Treasurer in the City Hall between the hours of 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM.
