NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING
JASPER COUNTY
2025 ENERGY TRANSITION COMMUNITY GRANT

Notice is hereby given that a Meeting for the 2025 Energy Transition Community Grant will be held at the County Board Room in the Jasper County Office Building in Newton, at 5:00 o’clock P.M., Central Standard Time, on Thursday, November 20, 2025.

As required by Illinois Statute (20 ILCS 735/10-20)
Energy Transition Community Grants

(h) Project applications shall include community input and consultation with a diverse set of stakeholders, including, but not limited to: Regional Planning Councils, where applicable; economic development organizations; low-income or environmental justice communities; educational institutions; elected and appointed officials; organizations representing workers; and other relevant organizations.
